• Cooking Class under the Stars

    Hello Everyone,

    We will be having a series of summer cooking classes this June.

    All classes will be 5-8pm

    Sunday June 7th–Morrocan
    Sunday June 14th–Italian
    Sunday June 28th–Asian Fusion

    I will post the menus later this week

    All classes are $48pp–Classes are limited to 12 people
    If you book a cooking class as a group 8-10 guests along with an overnight stay at the Castle, we will give you $100 off on the overnight rental fee. A group booking can be for other days during the week.

  • Cooking Class under the Stars

    Thank you everyone for the overwhelming response to our cooking classes.

    We also offer 2 other  options
    1) Groups of 8-10 people can rent the entire Castle overnight and schedule their own private  cooking class
    with breakfast the following morning for the group
    2) Cooking class attendees that aren’t in a group can rent the rooms individually.

  • @Smythwick Castle #Earthday

    #Earthday At @Smythwick Castle we celebrate our wonderful #Earth by trying to preserve the natural beauty of our property, with several of our acres left relatively untouched so that our guests can enjoy the beauty of nature.
    We practice #sustainability by raising a wide variety of Chickens and serving our overnight guests fresh eggs.  This year we have been lucky enough to welcome
    2 new baby goats into our family.  In the next few years as the herd grows, we look forward to producing our own goat milk and goat cheese.
    For the past year we have been composting and look forward to starting an herb and vegetable garden in 2015.
    We look forward to hosting new guests and showing them our wonderful property and sharing our farm to table produce with them.

    Spring Special:  Classes are  usually $60pp.  This Spring they are $48pp.
    Book a private class for 10 of you friends and rent the castle for the night
    with breakfast the next morning.

    Calling all Brides, Grooms, friends and families……Join us for a beautiful afternoon in the Hill Country at our idyllic country Castle. Experience our lovely courtyard, gazebo and ballroom.
